If your application is successful, you will receive a formal offer from the course provider.
This section will help you understand what you find in your offer letter.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect to find in my offer letter?
CONGRATULATIONS!
A formal offer letter means your application has been successful. An offer letter will usually include
some or all of the following:
- The course start date and duration;
- Course fees and payment schedule;
- The confirmation fee or deposit;
- An acceptance form to sign;
- Terms and conditions;
What is the difference between a conditional and unconditional offer?
An unconditional offer means that you have met all the entry requirements for the course and you are ready to confirm your place.
A conditional offer means that you still need to meet some of the entry requirements. Conditional offers are usually made to students
who are still waiting for the results of their final examinations, or students who need to pass an English test to meet the English
language requirements.
If you are made a conditional offer, the offer conditions will be stated clearly on your offer letter.
What is the deadline for accepting my offer?
In most cases, there is no specific deadline. However, places are limited so we strongly recommend you
confirm your place as soon as possible. And remember it can take 6 - 8 weeks to apply for a student visa!
What if I need to defer entry to a later date?
In some cases, you may need to defer entry to a later date, for example if you do not get your student visa early enough
to start the course on time. If you need to defer, please let your student advisor know. Provided the course is running
and there are places available, your advisor will arrange for a new offer letter to be sent to you.
