About These Courses
These courses are for international students who want to study a master's degree in the UK, but do not have the
academic and/or English qualifications for direct entry. They teach a balanced combination of subjects, including English language, study
skills, research methods and academic modules. Courses last 3 - 9 months and most provide
guaranteed progression to a master's on successful completion.

A Pre-Master's course is perfect for you if you want to study a master's degree in the UK and:
- You only achieved a Third Class (or Pass/Ordinary) degree.
- You don't have the English level for direct entry to a Master's.
- You want to study Business or Law, but your first degree is in a different subject.
- You already have the qualifications for direct entry, but you want to develop your subject
knowledge, study skills and research methods before starting a postgraduate degree.

In some cases, a Higher National Diploma (Credit+) in a closely related subject is accepted.

Note: You do not need a pre-master's course if you already have the qualifications for direct entry to a
master's degree.
