International Year One
A First Year Degree Program For international Students
The International Year One is a first year degree programme for international students.
It is equivalent to the first year of a bachelor's degree, but with flexible entry requirements
for students with international qualifications.
That means students who have completed high school in
qualifying countries can get first year admission to a UK university, without the need for a
foundation year.
It is also suitable for A Level or IB students who want to keep their UK degree plans
on track after missing out on direct entry.
The International Year One is offered by 50+ UK universities, including top ranking institutions
and selected Russell Group members. Courses start September or January.
Why Choose This Course?
- First Year Admission to a UK Bachelor's Degree for students with a
high school certificate from a qualifying country.
- Value for money. An opportunity to complete a UK bachelor's degree in only three years,
without the need for a foundation year. Save a full year of tuition fees, accommodation
and living expenses.
- Perfect for A Level and IB students who just missed out on direct entry. Get back on track with an
International Year One, without compromising on rank.
- A fast track option for students who have completed
AS levels and want to go straight to university without completing full A Levels.

Group members.
