International Year One
A First Year Degree Program For international Students
The International Year One is for international students who want to study an undergraduate degree in the UK, but do not have the
qualifications required for direct entry to a British university.
It is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree, but with
more flexible admission requirements for international students. On successful completion, most courses guarantee progression to the second year of a
bachelor's degree (year 3 in Scotland1).
