About This Course
This Pre Masters prepares international students for postgraduate study in Built Environment at Birmingham City University.
It is specially designed for students who do not have the academic qualifications normally required for admission to a master's programme at the university. It is also suitable for students who meet the academic requirements but need to improve their English skills before starting a master's.
During the course, you will study in a supportive learning environment alongside other international students. You will have the opportunity to deepen your subject knowledge, develop your study & research skills and improve your academic English to a high level.
On successful completion of this programme, you can progress to selected master's degrees in Built Environment at Birmingham City University, including MSc Construction Project Management.

Note: Students studying this course may1 benefit from a single study visa, which will be valid for the duration of the entire programme. That means you will not have to apply for a new visa when you progress from the Pre Masters.

A Bachelor's degree (Ordinary/Pass). A portfolio is required for art, architecture, design, fashion and jewellery.

A bachelor's degree (Pass) or Higher National Diploma in a relevant subject with a minimum GPA of 2.3/4.0. A portfolio is required for art, architecture, design, fashion and jewellery.

Students are normally aged between 21 - 30 years. Students with a study gap of more than 5 years cannot normally be considered for this course.
