About This Course
This Pre Masters prepares international students for postgraduate study in Business & Humanities at Newcastle University.
It is specially designed for students who do not have the academic qualifications normally required for admission to a master's programme at the university. It is also suitable for students who meet the academic requirements but need to improve their English skills before starting a master's.
During the course, you will study in a supportive learning environment alongside other international students. You will have the opportunity to deepen your subject knowledge, develop your study & research skills and improve your academic English to a high level.
On successful completion of this programme, you can progress to selected master's degrees in Business & Humanities at Newcastle University, including MA European Union Studies.
Progression is guaranteed for students who achieve the module scores required for their chosen progression degree.
Admission Requirements
Academic

Successful completion of a bachelor's degree, equivalent to a UK Degree (Lower Second Class) in a related subject. For Architecture, a portfolio of work is also required.

Students are normally aged between 21 - 30 years. Students with a study gap of more than 5 years cannot normally be considered for this course.
