About This Course

A Levels are studied by British students who want to go to university. They are accepted for entry by all UK Universities and by many international universities too. Top A Level grades are a prerequisite for entry to Medical School and elite universities like Oxford and Cambridge.

The standard A Level course takes 2 years to complete. Students study four subjects in the first year (AS Level), then specialise in three of those subjects in the second year (A2 Level). There is a wide range of subjects from which to choose, so it is important to choose the right combination for the degree you want to study. If you want to study A Levels, your student advisor will help you finalise your choice of subjects.

Entry Requirements

Academic Standard (2 Years)
Completion of high school with good grades, equivalent to 5 IGCSE grades A* - C, 9 - 4 in relevant subjects (including English and Maths). Applicants will be interviewed by a Vice Principal or another senior member of staff.
Accelerated (18 Months)
This option is primarily for students who have studied AS level and wish to improve their grades.
Intensive (1 Year)
This option is primarily for students who wish to retake A levels to improve their grades.
English English level equivalent to IELTS 5.5.
Minimum Age Minimum age 16 years (at start of course).
