An opportunity to progress to a UK Medical School after just one year of study.
Most medical schools in the UK require successful completion of A Levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB), with top grades in Biology, Chemistry and either Maths or Physics. The University Foundation Programme (Medicine) at David Game College London provides an alternative route to medicine for international students who have not studied A Levels or IB. It is also suitable for A Level/IB students who did not achieve the grades required for direct entry to medical school, or did not study the appropriate combination of subjects.
During the course, you will study a combination of core and elective modules, such as maths, chemistry, biology, psychology, physics and medical sciences. You will also receive specialist support to help you prepare for entrance interviews and for the UCAT or BMAT test.
You can apply to 4 medical schools using the Universities & Colleges Admission Service (UCAS), plus one alternative as a backup. In addition, you can submit direct applications to Brunel University and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
Important: Progression to a medical degree is not guaranteed. Successful progression is subject to a competitive entrance interview and passing an admissions test (e.g. UCAT or BMAT). It is also very important to demonstrate your interest and commitment through work experience and voluntary work in the health sector.
On successful completion of this course, you can apply for entry to degree programmes
