About This Course

The International Foundation Year (Architecture) is a comprehensive programme of academic subjects, study skills and English language. It is specially designed for international students who want to study an undergraduate degree at Newcastle University, but do not have the academic qualifications or English level required for direct entry.

On successful completion of this course, you can progress to the first year of selected bachelor's degrees at Newcastle University.

Entry Requirements

Academic	Completion of high school with excellent grades (equivalent to IGCSE AB average) or AS Level. For Architecture, a portfolio of work is also required.
English	English level equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (4.5+ in all skills).
Minimum Age	Minimum age 16 years and 9 months (for September start) or 17 years for other start dates.
