Pre-Arrivals Checklist
The checklist below provides specific information concerning your arrival and enrolment in the United Kingdom.
-
Once you receive confirmation that your visa application has been approved, you will be able
access your eVisa in your UKVI account. An eVisa is a digital record of your identity
and immigration status, together with the conditions of your visa (e.g. if you are allowed to study
in the UK). Once you have an eVisa, you can get a Share Code to provde your immigration status while
you are in the UK.
-
When you arrive at the airport, you may be asked to show documents relating to your studies, finances
and accommodation. For this reason, you should carry the following documents in your hand luggage,
in case they are asked for at the border: your CAS Letter, confirmation of admission, a copy of your visa decision email and
eVisa details, financial evidence to prove you can pay for your studies (e.g. bank statements, financial guarantee letter
from your sponsor), academic and English qualifications and proof of accommodation (e.g. an accommodation contract).
-
If you were required to take a TB test when you applied for your visa, you should also carry your
TB test certificate in your hand luggage.
-
When you enrol, you may need to show original certificates for any academic and English qualifications mentioned on your
CAS letter. So make sure you have them with you.
