Academic Requirements

General Academic Requirements
A Level Chemistry (B) plus two of Biology, Physics or Maths (C), PLUS IGCSE (5/B in Maths and 2 science subjects, plus C/4 in 2 other subjects). Alternatively, an equivalent qualification from your own country.

Brazil	Ensino Médio plus one year of further study.
Egypt	GSEC (Thanawiya Amma) plus one year of further study.
Ghana	WASSCE plus one year of further study.
India	Standard XII (55%+)
Jordan	GSEC (Tawjihi) plus one year of further study.
Kazakhstan	Attestat 4+/5. Some institutions at this level require a further year of study.
Kenya	KCSE B/C average. Some institutions at this level require a further year of study.
Kuwait	GSEC (Thanawiya) plus one year of further study.
Lebanon	Baccalaureat plus one year of further study.
Malaysia	STPM C+ grades in 2-3 subjects.
Mexico	Bachillerato plus one year of further study.
Morocco	Baccalaureate plus one year of further study.
Nigeria	National Diploma (OND) or Foundation Year.
Qatar	GSEC plus one year of further study.
Saudi Arabia	GSEC (Tawjihiyya) plus one year of further study.
South Africa	National Senior Certificate grade 5/6 (5 subjects).
Turkey	Lise Diplomasi 55%+
United Arab Emirates	GSEC (Thanawiya) plus one year of further study.
United States	High School Diploma GPA 2.0 - 2.5 plus 3 AP subjects (3,3,2)
Zambia	Zambian School Certificate (ZSC) plus one year of further study.

Other Requirements

English	IELTS 6.0 (5.5 all skills) or equivalent. A wide range of alternative English qualifications is accepted.
Personal Statement	Personal statement indicating why you want to study medicine at Brunel and highlighting your academic abilities, suitability to become a medical professional plus any work experience in a healthcare environment.
Interview	Admission interview (Motivation, academic background, interest and understanding of medicine).
Minimum Age	You must be at least 18 years old when you progress to your degree.
