About This Course

This Pre Masters prepares international students for postgraduate study in Art & Design at The University Of Hertfordshire. It is specially designed for students who do not have the academic qualifications normally required for admission to a master's programme at the university. It is also suitable for students who meet the academic requirements but need to improve their English skills before starting a master's.

During the course, you will study in a supportive learning environment alongside other international students. You will have the opportunity to deepen your subject knowledge, develop your study & research skills and improve your academic English to a high level.

On successful completion of this programme, you can progress to selected master's degrees in Art & Design at The University Of Hertfordshire, including MA Interior Architecture & Design. Note: Students studying this course may¹ benefit from a single study visa, which will be valid for the duration of the entire programme. That means you will not have to apply for a new visa when you progress from the Pre Masters.

Admission Requirements

Academic	Completion of high school plus 2+ years of further study, equivalent to an HND in a related subject.
English	UKVI IELTS 5.5 (5.5 all skills) or equivalent UKVI English test.
Maximum Age	Students are normally aged between 21 - 30 years. Students with a study gap of more than 5 years cannot normally be considered for this course.
