About This Course
This undergraduate degree programme at Manchester Metropolitan University is for international students who have completed Year 11/12 of high school in their own country1.
- Stage 1 (International Foundation Year): a balanced programme of English Language, study skills and academic subjects to prepare international students for undergraduate admission. This stage is taught at Manchester Metropolitan University International College.
- Stage 2 (Degree: Year 1): this stage is taught at Manchester Metropolitan University International College or Manchester Metropolitan University, depending on your chosen subject.
- Stage 3 (Degree: Years 2-3): taught at Manchester Metropolitan University and leading to selected Bachelor's degrees in Humanities & Social Sciences, including BA English.
Note: Students studying this programme will benefit from a single integrated student visa, provided they can demonstrate an English level of IELTS 5.5 (5.5 all skills) or equivalent. That means you will not have to renew your visa when you progress from one stage to the next.
