About This Course

The International Year One (Media, Film & Television Production) is a first year degree programme at The University Of East Anglia for international students. It is available for selected undergraduate degrees and is specially designed for students who do not meet the standard academic or English admission requirements.

During the course, you will study a full first year curriculum, but with additional support to improve your academic and study skills. Students who do not meet the standard English requirements for The University Of East Anglia will also benefit from enhanced English language support.

On successful completion of this programme, you can progress directly to the second year of selected Bachelor's degrees in Media, Film & Television Production, including BA Film & Television Studies. Progression is guaranteed for students who achieve the module scores required for their chosen progression degree.

Admission Requirements

Academic Completion of high school plus at least one year of further study, for a University Foundation Course or A Levels (CCC-DDD). AS Levels not accepted.
English * Minimum UKVI IELTS 5.5 (5.0 all skills) or equivalent UKVI English test. Psychology, Global Development with Media (5.5 Writing); Media, Film & Television (5.5 Listening).
Minimum Age Minimum age 17 years (at start of course).

*Students who do not meet the English requirements can study an extended study plan with additional English tuition. The following options are available: Extended Study Plan (4 Terms) Starting Sep: From UKVI IELTS 4.5 (4.5 all skills).
