About This Course
The International Foundation (Engineering, Mathematics, Computing & Physical Sciences) is a comprehensive programme of academic subjects, study skills and English language. It is specially designed for international students who want to study an undergraduate degree at The University Of Exeter, but do not have the academic qualifications or English level required for direct entry.
On successful completion of this course, you can progress to the first year of selected bachelor's degrees at The University Of Exeter.

Completion of high school with very good grades. For students who studied the UK curriculum: 5 IGCSE AB grades (subject to approval by the Head of Centre), AS Level (DDE) or A Level (DDD). Alternatively, IB 20 points. Native language and religion excluded.

English level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 (5.5+ in all skills).

English level equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (5.0+ in writing and 4.5+ in all other skills). For some engineering degrees*, alternative English qualifications may also be considered (e.g. GCSE English). *Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering and Management, Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
