About This Course

This Pre Masters prepares international students for postgraduate study in Business & Law at The University Of Aberdeen. It is specially designed for students who do not have the academic qualifications normally required for admission to a master's programme at the university. It is also suitable for students who meet the academic requirements but need to improve their English skills before starting a master's.

During the course, you will study in a supportive learning environment alongside other international students. You will have the opportunity to deepen your subject knowledge, develop your study & research skills and improve your academic English to a high level.

On successful completion of this programme, you can progress to selected master's degrees in Business & Law at The University Of Aberdeen, including MSc Accounting & Finance. Progression is guaranteed for students who achieve the module scores required for their chosen progression degree.

Note: Students studying this course may¹ benefit from a single study visa, which will be valid for the duration of the entire programme. That means you will not have to apply for a new visa when you progress from the Pre Masters.

Admission Requirements

Academic	A good Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma (upper credit / distinction). Must be in a related subject for Engineering & Science, but can be in any subject for Business & Law. Some programmes e.g. MBA require two years’ post-degree relevant work experience.
English *	IELTS 6.0 (6.0 in writing and 5.5 in all other skills) or equivalent. A wide range of English qualifications accepted for this course.
Maximum Age	Students are normally aged between 21 - 30 years. Students with a study gap of more than 5 years cannot normally be considered for this course.
