About This Course

The Foundation Certificate (Art & Design) is the first stage of a Bachelor's degree at The University Of Westminster for international students who have completed Year 11 or 12 at high school in their own country¹.

During this course, you will study a combination of academic modules, English language and study skills. You will study in small classes alongside other international students, with additional support to help you adjust to student life in the UK. On successful completion of this programme, you can progress to the first year of selected Bachelor's degrees in Art & Design, including BA Architecture. Progression is guaranteed for students who achieve the module scores required for their chosen progression degree.

Admission Requirements

Academic	Completion of high school with good grades, equivalent to 3 IGCSE subjects with pass grades (E/2).
English *	UKVI IELTS 5.5 (4.5 all skills) or equivalent UKVI English test.
Minimum Age	Minimum age 16 years (at start of course).
