About This Course

This Pre Masters prepares international students for postgraduate study in Accounting & Finance at Swansea University. It is specially designed for students who do not have the academic qualifications normally required for admission to a master's programme at the university. It is also suitable for students who meet the academic requirements but need to improve their English skills before starting a master's.

During the course, you will study in a supportive learning environment alongside other international students. You will have the opportunity to deepen your subject knowledge, develop your study & research skills and improve your academic English to a high level.

On successful completion of this programme, you can progress to selected master's degrees in Accounting & Finance at Swansea University, including MSc Finance & Big Data Analytics. Progression is guaranteed for students who achieve the module scores required for their chosen progression degree.

Note: Students studying this course may¹ benefit from a single study visa, which will be valid for the duration of the entire programme. That means you will not have to apply for a new visa when you progress from the Pre Masters.

Admission Requirements

One Semester

Academic	Successful completion of a bachelor's degree (with honours) in a related subject.
English *	IELTS 5.5 (5.5 all skills) or equivalent. A wide range of English qualifications is accepted, including some high school English qualifications.
Maximum Age	Students are normally aged between 21 - 30 years. Students with a study gap of more than 5 years cannot normally be considered for this course.

Two Semesters

Academic	Successful completion of a bachelor's degree (Pass) in a related subject.
English *	UKVI IELTS 5.5 (5.0 all skills) or equivalent UKVI English test. Alternatively, non-UKVI IELTS 5.5 (5.5 all skills) or equivalent non-UKVI English tests.
Maximum Age	Students are normally aged between 21 - 30 years. Students with a study gap of more than 5 years cannot normally be considered for this course.
