About This Course
This Pre Masters prepares international students for postgraduate study in Business & Social Studies at The University Of Strathclyde.
It is specially designed for students who do not have the academic qualifications normally required for admission to a master's programme at the university. It is also suitable for students who meet the academic requirements but need to improve their English skills before starting a master's.
During the course, you will study in a supportive learning environment alongside other international students. You will have the opportunity to deepen your subject knowledge, develop your study & research skills and improve your academic English to a high level.
On successful completion of this programme, you can progress to selected master's degrees in Business & Social Studies at The University Of Strathclyde, including MSc International Relations.
Progression is guaranteed for students who achieve the module scores required for their chosen progression degree.
Admission Requirements
Academic

Successful completion of a bachelor's degree, equivalent to a UK Degree (3rd Class) in a related subject.

IELTS 5.5 (5.5 all skills) or equivalent. A wide range of alternative English qualifications are accepted for this course.

Maximum Age

Students are normally aged between 21 - 30 years. Students with a study gap of more than 5 years cannot normally be considered for this course.

an extended study plan with additional English tuition. The following options
are available:
