About This Course
The Year 0 Foundation (Pharmacy) is the first stage of a Bachelor's degree at Robert Gordon University for international students who have completed Year 11 or 12 at high school in their own country1.
During this course, you will study a combination of academic modules, English language and study skills. You will study in small classes alongside other international students, with additional support to help you adjust to student life in the UK.
On successful completion of this programme, you can progress to the first year of selected Bachelor's degrees in Pharmacy.
Progression is guaranteed for students who achieve the module scores required for their chosen progression degree.
Admission Requirements
Academic

Completion of high school with good grades, equivalent to 5 IGCSE grades A*-C, 4-9 in relevant subjects (excluding native language). In addition, you will need at least 2 of maths, chemistry, biology or physics. The exact combination depends on degree aim.

IELTS 5.5 (5.5 all skills) or equivalent. Pharmacy/Nursing: IELTS 6.0 (5.5). A wide range of English qualifications is accepted, including some high school English qualifications.
