About This Course
The NCUK Master's Preparation in Higher Education is for international students who want to study a master's degree at an NCUK university, but do not have the academic and/or English qualifications for direct entry. During this course, you will develop your academic English, research and study skills to a high level, while at the same time improving your subject knowledge.
You can choose up to four NCUK universities and are guaranteed to receive at least one conditional offer. On successful completion of this course you will progress automatically to your chosen master's programme, provided you meet the conditions of your offer(s).
The Northern Consortium (NCUK) is a group of universities in the north of England. This programme is accredited by NCUK and is widely accepted for entry to many universities throughout the UK.

Successful completion of a bachelor's degree from a recognised international university (minimum upper second class or equivalent). This course is not appropriate for holders a UK bachelor's degree.

English level equivalent to IELTS 5.0 (5.0+ in reading and writing).

Students are normally aged between 21 - 30 years. Students with a study gap of more than 5 years cannot normally be considered for this course.
