About This Course

The Foundation Certificate (Social Sciences) prepares international students for guaranteed entry to a bachelor's degree at selected UK universities. The course is taught at Kaplan International College, which is situated in the heart of London, near to St Paul's and the Financial District. Kaplan has partnered with a small number of leading UK universities in London and other major cities, such as Bristol and Birmingham. On successful completion of this course, you are guaranteed progression to the first year of a bachelor's degree at one of those universities.

Entry Requirements

Academic Completion of high school with good grades, equivalent to 5 IGCSE grades A* - C in relevant subjects (excluding native language). For progression to Queen Mary, student who follow the UK or IB curriculum will need 3 AS Levels (CCC) or IB (22 points).
English 2 Terms
UKVI IELTS 5.5 (4.5 all skills) or equivalent UKVI English test.
2.5 Terms
UKVI IELTS 5.0 (4.0 all skills) or equivalent UKVI English test.
3 Terms
UKVI IELTS 4.5 (4.0 all skills) or equivalent UKVI English test.
Minimum Age Minimum age 16 years (at start of course). For progression degrees in healthcare, students must be 18 by the time they start their degree course.
