About This Course
The University Foundation (Criminology) is a specialist programme for international students who want to study a degree at Swansea University, but do not have the qualifications for direct entry. This course is the first stage of a four stage programme, leading to an honours degree awarded by Swansea University.
- Stage 1 (University Foundation): a balanced programme of English, study skills and academic subjects to prepare international students for undergraduate study in the UK. This stage is taught at International College Swansea University.
- Stage 2 (First Year University): this stage is taught at International College Swansea University or Swansea University, depending on your chosen subject.
- Stage 3 (Second Year University): taught at Swansea University.
- Stage 4 (Final Year University): taught at Swansea University. At the end of this stage, you will graduate with an honours degree.
Note: this is an integrated degree programme at NQF Level 6. That means you will not have to renew your visa when you transfer from International College Swansea University to Swansea University and you may be accepted without a UKVI IELTS.
