About This Course

The Foundation Certificate (Social Sciences) is a comprehensive programme of academic subjects, study skills and English language. It is specially designed for international students who want to study an undergraduate degree at The University Of Nottingham, but do not have the academic qualifications or English level required for direct entry.

On successful completion of this course, you can progress to the first year of selected bachelor's degrees at The University Of Nottingham.

Entry Requirements

Academic Completion of high school with good grades, equivalent to 5 IGCSE grades A/B in relevant subjects (excluding native language). Students who have studied AS/A levels need 3 A level subjects (BCC).
English 2 Terms
UKVI IELTS 5.5 (4.5 all skills) or equivalent UKVI English test.
2.5 Terms
UKVI IELTS 5.0 (4.0 all skills) or equivalent UKVI English test.
3 Terms
UKVI IELTS 4.5 (4.0 all skills) or equivalent UKVI English test.
Minimum Age Minimum age 16 years (at start of course).
