About This Course

This undergraduate degree programme at Swansea University is for international students who have completed Year 11/12 of high school in their own country1.

  • Stage 1 (International Foundation Year): a balanced programme of English Language, study skills and academic subjects to prepare international students for undergraduate admission. This stage is taught at International College Swansea University.
  • Stage 2 (Degree: Year 1): this stage is taught at International College Swansea University or Swansea University, depending on your chosen subject.
  • Stage 3 (Degree: Years 2-3): taught at Swansea University and leading to selected Bachelor's degrees in Business Management.

Note: Students studying this programme will benefit from a single integrated student visa, provided they can demonstrate an English level of IELTS 5.5 (5.5 all skills) or equivalent. That means you will not have to renew your visa when you progress from one stage to the next.

Admission Requirements

One Semester

Academic Completion of high school plus one year of further study, for example AS Level (CCC) or a University Foundation Course.
English * IELTS 5.5 (5.5 all skills) or equivalent. A wide range of alternative English qualifications is accepted, including some high school English qualifications.

Two Semesters

Academic Completion of high school with good grades, equivalent to 5 IGCSE grades A-C in relevant subjects (excluding native language). Alternatively, AS Levels (DDD).
English * UKVI IELTS 5.0 (4.5 all skills) or equivalent UKVI English test. Alternatively, non-UKVI IELTS 5.5 (5.5 all skills) or equivalent non-UKVI English tests.

*Students who do not meet the English requirements can study an extended study plan with additional English tuition. The following options are available: Three Semesters Starting Jan, Jun, Sep: UKVI IELTS 4.5 (a minimum of 4.0 in either Speaking or Listening) or equivalent UKVI English test.
