What Is A Pathway Course?
About Pathway Courses
University Pathways are for international students who want to study in the UK, but do not have the
qualifications for direct entry to a university degree.
Most pathways take 3 - 9 months and teach a combination of academic subjects, English language and study skills.
In most cases, successful completion of a pathway course guarantees progression to your chosen degree.
Is A Pathway Right For You?
A pathway course is right for you if:
- You want to study an undergraduate degree, but your high school qualifications are not sufficient for direct entry;
- You want to study a master's degree, but you did not achieve the necessary class/GPA at bachelor's level;
- You need to improve your English level to meet the entry requirements;
- You have the qualifications for direct entry to a degree, but you want to improve your subject knowledge and study skills first;
You do not need a pathway course if you already meet the academic and English requirements for direct entry to a degree programme.
