About This Course
The International Foundation Programme is for international students who want to study a bachelor's degree at the University of Bristol, but do not have the academic or English qualifications for direct entry.
Most students will study the standard International Foundation Programme, which teaches a combination of academic subjects, English language and study skills. Students with a more advanced level of English have the option to study the International Foundation Programme Plus. This option provides an opportunity to focus on language literacy and subject specific vocabulary and grammar.
The course comprises at least 15 teaching hours per week. Classes, lectures and tutorials are taught by university academics and students have full access to university facilities, including libraries, computer rooms, study areas and tutors.
