About This Course

This Pre Masters prepares international students for postgraduate study in Computing, Engineering And Health Sciences at Teesside University. It is specially designed for students who do not have the academic qualifications normally required for admission to a master's programme at the university. It is also suitable for students who meet the academic requirements but need to improve their English skills before starting a master's.

On successful completion of this programme, you can progress to selected master's degrees in Computing, Engineering And Health Sciences at Teesside University, including MSc Bioinformatics. Note: Students studying this course may¹ benefit from a single study visa, which will be valid for the duration of the entire programme. That means you will not have to apply for a new visa when you progress from the Pre Masters.

Admission Requirements

Academic	Completion of high school plus 3+ years of further study, equivalent to an HND or Bachelor's degree (Ordinary/Pass).
English *	IELTS 5.5 (5.5 all skills). A wide range of alternative English tests accepted for this course.
Maximum Age	Students are normally aged between 21 - 30 years. Students with a study gap of more than 5 years cannot normally be considered for this course.
