A Level Pathways

About These Courses

A Levels are studied by British students who want to go to university. They are accepted by all UK universities and many international universities too. Top A Level grades are a prerequisite for entry to Medical School and elite universities like Oxford and Cambridge.

The standard A Level course lasts 2 years. Students choose 4 subjects in the first year (AS Level), then specialise in three of those in the second year (A2 Level). Some colleges offer fast-track courses lasting only 12 or 18 months. However, the A Level curriculum is academically demanding, so the fast-track option is only suitable only for students who have studied at an advanced level already.

Why Choose This Course

  • The Gold Standard of the British education system - accepted as an entry qualification by all universities in the UK.
