Guide To Undergraduate Admission Requirements In The USA

Most US universities expect international students to meet the same academic requirements as US students and demonstrate a high level of English proficiency. Some universities, including most of the universities on our website, offer alternative admission routes for international students who do not meet their standard requirements.

Standard Admission Requirements

Academic US High School Diploma (GPA 3.0 - 3.5) or international equivalent.
SAT/ACT SAT (1100 - 1320) or ACT (24-30) depending on major.
English IELTS 6.0 - 6.5 (6.0 in all skills) / TOEFL iBT 80 (minimum 18 in all skills)

International Admission Requirements

Academic Completion of high school with good grades, equivalent to a US High School Diploma (GPA 2.5). Most overseas high school qualifications accepted.
SAT/ACT Not required
English IELTS 5.0 (4.5 in all skills) / TOEFL iBT 50 (minimum 10 in all skills) / PTE 41 / Duolingo 80
