Guide To Graduate Admission Requirements In The USA
Most US universities expect international students to meet the same academic requirements as US students
and demonstrate a high level of English proficiency. International students who do not meet the standard
entry requirements can still qualify for graduate entry by studying a pre-master's course first.

Master's Direct Entry
Academic

A 4-year US Bachelor's Degree (GPA 3.0) or international equivalent*

GRE (320) or GMAT (600 - 750) for MBA programs

IELTS 6.0 - 6.5 (6.0 in all skills) / TOEFL iBT 88 - 90 (minimum 20 in all skills)

* For non-US degrees, you may be required to have your transcrips evaluated by a
recognised credentials evaluation service, such as
WES.
Pre-Master's Programs
Academic

US Bachelor's Degree (GPA 2.75) or international equivalent.
Note: Third Class/Pass degrees are not accepted for pre-master's entry in the USA.
Lower level qualifications, such as Higher National Diplomas (HND) are also not accepted.
